I am a quilter from Ontario, Canada. I've been married to a wonderful man for the past 40 years and have two children, a daughter and a son. I've been quilting for about 15 years, and have been designing my own patterns for the past 9 years. My first design was a quilt titled "All About Bears" which I designed in 1999. I love hand applique, and have since published several other applique patterns. Recently, I have been experimenting with embellishing my quilts using crystals, embroidery threads and silk ribbons.

What fun - our baby chickadees in the birdhouse out back have fledged - they flit around the yard all day.
Aren't they sweet! I've never seen them just hatched before - I'm so glad you're sharing this!
