It's so hard to believe a year has gone by and I'm posting the last block of my "Sweet Nostalgia" B.O.M. I hope you have enjoyed stitching these blocks as much as I did.
Thank you to Marina, Jennifer, and Hazel who have shared photos of their blocks in the "Sweet Nostalgia" Flickr group, and to Karine and Carrie who have emailed me their photos so I could share them with you. I hope more of you will share your photos over the next few months.
I'd also like to thank everyone who has taken the time to leave me a comment.
Also, I'd like to thank Nireko of the Lecien Corp. who so generously provided the wonderful Cosmo threads for this project. If you haven't tried them yet, I really hope you will have the opportunity to try them in the future. They are wonderful to work with, and have a lovely silken sheen.
A photo of the quilt and the finishing instructions for the quilt will be posted in the next few weeks.
Here are the links to download the pattern. Scribd or 4Shared
Please remember, each block is available as a free download for 3 months, after which it will be available for purchase.
On the home front, Daisy is doing fairly well, only one more week before she gets the stitches out and we can remove that horrible cone from her head. She is banging into everything with it, and I have the bruises on my legs to prove it! lol
The hardest thing is keeping her from running or trying to jump on the couch to cuddle with us.
Bye for now.

Thanks so much, Dorothy, for these 12 months of designs!
And glad to hear Daisy is doing better.

You are very welcome Marilyn. I hope you will enjoy stitching them.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your patterns. I have only made one block so far but have saved all the patterns.
THank you again Dorothy - I cannot believe it is already over, my overdo blocks should be posted soon. I cannot wait to see your finished quilt, it is going to be gorgeous!!! Your poor Daisy, she will be one happy dog when that cone comes off!!
How sad it is the last block! It is gorgeous. I love the little boy up the tree and that little dog is there too. It has been really great doing these blocks and I look forward to the finishing details.
Poor Daisy the alien dog!
Thank you Dorothy for the wonderful BOM!
Thank you Dorothy for the last block and this wonderful adventure.
I am a bit late but I do not give ! but I have a lot of work for now.
See you soon. I do not forget to send you pictures.

Oh Dorothy, I'm so sad this is the last block but so happy that you've been so generous to share this lovely project with us! This is yet another darling block. Thank you for this wonderful design! I'm glad Daisy is doing well, poor baby, that cone does NOT look fun. Only one more week, probably one of the longest weeks of your life, right?
Thanks again, hon!
Poor Daisy, she looks so forlorn with the cone around her neck. I hope it has been removed by now and that she is doing better.
Your latest block in the BOM is so sweet and the fabrics you are using to frame them are very pretty.
I look forward to seeing the finished quilt top.

Beautiful, Dorothy - this one is probably the sweetest block so far, I think...:)
Glad to see Daisy, is getting around. Poor thing having to wear that cone but it is good for her, bad for your legs.:D
Great new pattern. As you can see from my blog I have not been very busy with much but I hope to pull out the blocks I have colored and get to work. Your designs are so sweet. Thanks again for sharing.
Oh my goodness! I can completely sympathise (although I'm not too sure I can spell it). I just had my son's dachshund break his front elbow and have that in a cast. His poor stubby leg in a cast. Pain meds, put him in a kennel. No jumping. It was fine when he was all drugged. When he got out of the cast, and wasn't on drugs, and wasn't supposed to run or jump.. now THAT was a challenge! He is doing great though. Running and walking with no limp. You can't even tell anything happened.
