Getting Ready For Christmas

I can't believe there is less than 2 weeks left before Christmas! I still have some baking to do.
Thank goodness for M&M's. LOL Their Macaroon Madness is wonderful.
The tree is decorated and the livingroom & diningroom are ready. DD and I decorated the Gingerbread House yesterday. I think DD ate more of the candy than ended up on the house! LOL
A while ago, JoAnn at http://piecefulquillting.blogspot.com/ posted photos of some of her Santa collection, and I thought I might follow her lead and post photos of a few of mine.

Here's a few more.

Decorating the tree brings back so many memories. I'm lucky to have a few ornaments from our tree when I was little. (A long time ago!) LOL They are a little the worse for wear but they are special to me and go on our tree every year.

The bird has lost his tail, and the little church has discolored with age, but they still fit right in with the newer ornaments.
DD, who got married 2 years ago, has scooped some of the ornaments for their tree, but these ones are staying put!

Bye for now.

Hey Dorothy! Lots of cute Santas there at your place - I've seen some wonderful decorations on people's blogs and it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Mind you, with less than two weeks to go, I'd better start getting used to the idea that Christmas is coming! Tee! Hee! Hee! My Mum still has some of the decorations I remember putting on the tree as a kid - such lovely memories! Enjoy your Christmas preparations - I'm off to work on a few more gifties! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Neato santas. I love the vintage ornaments too - doesn't it feel strange to call stuff "vintage" when it was in our lifetime? :-)

Thanks for the fun post- I love seeing everyone's santas - and hardly any repeats.

Love your Santas. I noticed the new woodland Santas in your slide show and I love them! I have a small collection of Santa but a larger collection of Angles. I didn't mean to do it they just were slowly added over time.

Awesome Santas, and those ornaments look quite similar to many I have/had in our family Christmas trees throughout the years! Will have to post some of mine... when our tree is up! 8-)
Happy stitchings/baking/prepping for Christmas!
