Happy Mother's Day

Wishing you all a very happy Mother's Day.
I am grateful that I still have Mom with me to celebrate another Mother's Day. My dear son surprised me with some lovely white roses before he headed off to work, and my lovely daughter gave me a beautiful card with some spending money, to feed my quilting addiction. lol Unfortunately, I won't get to see my daughter today, as she and her husband manage a restaurant, and today is always the busiest day of the year for them. Of course, Daisy, their Chocolate Lab, is staying with us while they are busy with work.

The sun is shining today, so we will probably spend the day working in the garden, I can't believe how many weeds are out there!

Hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now.

Sounds like a quiet day for you Dorothy... Too bad your children all have to work on a day one would normally have with the kids... but understandable! 8-(

Hey Dorothy, I am glad you had a lovely mother's day.
Thanks for visiting my blog and following my trip. I am home now but will still be doing posts if you want to read along.
I took some embroidery with me but did not do one single stitch and I only read one magazine.
We were always busy. It was fun.
