New Month - New Giveaway

September is the start of a new quilting season here, with Quilt Guilds coming back from their summer hiatus and Quilt Shops starting their new classes, so I thought it might be a good time for another giveaway.
This time I will have 2 categories, one for needlework and the other for quilting, so please state your preference in your comment.

Anyone interested in winning can leave a comment telling us their preferred method of quilting, (i.e. piecing, applique, paper piecing) or embroidery
Anyone leaving a comment between now and Saturday, September 6, 2008 will be eligible to win.
As in previous giveaways I will have DH draw the numbers of the winners.

For all you quilters, these cute patterns by Heidi & Else Jeppesen are the prize.

I'm afraid I can't show you a finished quilt as I never got around to making these. I think a friend brought them back from Australia for me, but by then I was all "teddybeared out"!

For those of you interested in the embroidery, this is the "giveaway".

I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Bye for now.

Hi Dorothy! Put me in for the quilt patterns please. The Teddy Bears are just darling... 8-) I shall post about your giveaway on my blog too...
My preferred method of quilting... hmmm? That is hard to answer, because it depends on my mood, though, I must say that I am more relaxed doing hand piecing, applique, or sewing down the binding by hand...
Happy stitchings!

Hey Dorothy! What do you MEAN you're all teddybear-ed out!!!! That's just not possible!! Although, I may be just a LITTLE biased there! Tee! Hee! Hee! The motto of our household is, "You can never have too many bears and there's always room for one more!" I'm a bit like Myra above - bit of everything! The last few quilts I've made have had stitchery (backstitch) picture panels with patchwork borders, but I also do the occasional applique quilt. Nothing complicated or my patience wears thin and it gets put back in the cupboard!! Hope you're having a great day! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

I hope I'm just in time to enter:)
I love both needlework and quilting but since I have all the needlework patterns I am ever likely to use I would like to enter for the quilt patterns please.
I haven't been quilting very long so would class myself as an advanced beginner. So much to learn!
I like to rotary cut and machine piece but I find I love applique best as I can combine my love of embroidery with this technique.
